Out club has a VXR-7000 connected to an Arcom RC-210 controller. I have a macro set up for a power failure that changes the courtesy tone to let us know there has been a power failure, but we’d also like to reduce repeater power automatically to extend our runtime (we lasted about 2 and a half days at full power on two deep cycle batteries.. not bad, but with minimal use.. more batteries and a solar system on the way soon)
Ch 1 and 2 are set up the same, with Ch 2 being low power and Ch 1 being high power. However in Remote mode I know you cannot change the channel from the front panel. Pins 16-19 are channel control. Pulling Pin 19 to Ground would effectively change from Ch 1 to Ch 2 (in theory without needing 16-18 connected as they all stay high) but I do not know if that still works when in remote mode.
Does anyone know if the rear channel pins will work as intended while in Remote mode and this will work? I wanted to ask before I start wiring and programming the controller for it.
