Is everyone getting this message more and more recently when posting? I seem to get it about 70% of the time I just post a single message.

I have not seen it, but I did notice a couple of double posts with the same time stamp. This is usually a hint that the server is being slammed. Maybe another web crawler/stripper?

The new ajax features are causing come confusion where people will hit submit at the lower and upper portions of the message box at separate times.

Ajax features are more "dynamic" and take a little getting used to.

No, Lindsay, I'm hitting Post Quick Reply or the Submit button just once - unless my mouse button is noisy enough that it's being interpreted as 2 clicks on the page.

Just happened again - I hit the Post Quick Reply button - once - and got the "This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 28 seconds." message.

Did you do it twice in a row? Your timestamps are within a minute of each other, so if you didn't wait 30 seconds after your first response - you would get that message!

No, I got the message when I posted the first post, #4. #5 was posted more than 30 seconds later, and I got no message.

Wait 30 seconds...

I got the same wait for 30 second yesterday ( Sunday April 23rd, 2006)....

Maybe is because the RadioReference forums was more busy than usual as it was Sunday..
Just a thought
Cheesrs,

Hi all,

I haven't seen the message but the server has been >awfully< sluggish at times lately, mostly late at night when traffic volume should be low, odd. Maybe a clue?
