Yep...as Basstuba stated Wake County Sheriff communications are now on the VIPER system in a digital format...you will need a digital trunktracking scanner to be able to monitor them...

i went to the sight you sent me to and it looks like everything i need is there im just not shure how to use it. i saw where it said (dec) if im correct that was a talk group number but what im not shure of is how to enter it as a frequency. if its any help im using a pro95 dual trunking scanner and its a year old. if there is anywhere on this sight that explains all this please point me in the right direction

i am sorry to tell you but the pro 95 will not work you need to get a pro 96 or one of the uniden models (396 hand held)
