I would look in the business UHF band. Use to be fun to go back into the automotive and tune their scanner to them and blast it for everyone to hear. Back then they use VHF radio's.
Most Walmarts use either 154.570 or 154.600. I know the one in Clarksburg is 154.570.
I guess you have to practically be in the parking lot to hear anything(I live about 3-4 miles from one)
I would have to say they most likely only have a 1 watt radio. I can't remember the FCC rule for them in VHF. Thru the clutter of the building 3/4 mile reach.
I'd say 1 watt is about right. Sometimes inside the building you hear static when the 2 people are on opposite sides of the store.

Every time I see a thread like this I think the same exact thing, but so far I have resisted the urge to ask.
Oh, sometimes when they are following shoplifters it can get pretty comical.
What few times I heard them it was when the manager was called on the PA and the radio telling him where to hide and what the problem was. Now on the other hand I listen to one Hoes, Jokes, or Lowe's whatever you want to call it. I heard one time someone talking on it about other employee that were easy to get in bed.

or fun with drive-thrus. ahh, I have many stories of both phone systems but none for here.
Yeah, I have those covered to. 800, was about 2am and I heard a click " by this time tomorrow I will have me another women ", and I think the other good was when the lady left her keys at a guys house cursed him for nearly 10 min. then asked nicely if he would give them back. The drive thru was some girls rating what they like about the guys in the drive thru.
