So I started scanning Public Safety and found a good bit near me. Im new at this but getting better. I tried to save them as P-25 but it asks
for TGID. No talkgroup ID shows up in scanning of Public Safety, only frequencies. It does show DAT or LNK. I understand that that is P-25 so
how to I store all of the frequencies so that I dont have to either manually advance or wait for the -10 sec I allocated. I want them to all scan
with everything else. I found about 20 so i want to add them to my list.

Welcome to the forums! Most radio traffic in Franklin County is on the South Central Interoperability Network trunked radio system (SCIN). South Central Interoperability Network Trunking System, Steelton, Pennsylvania Talkgroup ID's (TGID's) in a trunked radio system are similar to frequencies or channels in a conventional system. Use the numbers in the DEC column. You will not be able to monitor law enforcement which is fully encrypted (DE in Mode Column). You need to create a P25 Standard trunked system with 2 sites (Franklin Simulcast and Franklin Mt Quirak). Put the control channel capable frequencies into the sites. You will need to remove the "c" when entering the frequencies.

Being a Premium Subscriber, you can download the system directly from the Radio Reference database using programming software. For P25 systems, you can download and install FreeSCAN which is FREE! Downloads - Sixspot Software For programming DMR or NXDN systems, you will need either Butel ARC-XT or ProScan software. Both of them are paid programs with a free trial period to determine which one you like better. I use ARC-XT Basic for my BCD325P2 and BCD996P2.
