WANTED belt clip for BCD396T and serial cable for Uniden BCD996T

1) belt clip for 396T (the black clip piece)
2) serial cable for 996T (well its the same serial cable as the 396)

Hoping somebody has a spare of either of these
The cable if someone upgraded to a USB-1 cable and no longer uses the serial cable let me know


I posted this in the WANTED section but hoping to catch some uniden users eyes who maybe dont scan the wanted section.

Hi,

I used this cable on my 996T and it works perfectly. Actually installed itself with Windows XP but includes drivers on mini cd just in case.

I don't think he's looking for a USB cable or adapter, he's looking for the serial cable that comes with the scanner.

Im trying not to order from Uniden (sorry Uniden I still love you)
but shipping to my address from the Uniden site is $16 for the $2 belt clip

plus I hate fed-ex
(which is the only company Uniden will use to ship to Canada).

Last time i got something from fedex in the US i got it fine then a month later they sent me a letter saying I owed them almost $175 for brokerage charges (on a $500 item)..

wtf thats worse then UPS
and to send me a letter a month later saying I owed them money (plus interest) and to pay up.. what nerve. so i refuse to use them now out of spite.

Unless you are wanting a genuine Uniden belt clip, you can use a cell phone belt clip.
I found out that the belt clip for cell phones work great. I bought one from a vender at the local mall, it even had a locking clip so the radio won't come off with out pushing the button.
It was only a couple of bucks.

thanks for the reply.. is it one that clips onto the circle piece at the back of the radio.. or clips onto the whole radio?
