Hello looking for funeral escort frequencies in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas I know they have some LTR and Conv. frequencies but do not know what they are except that they are in the 450-470 band. Any help would be great.

does anyone else mistaken them for police on the freeways? what is the legality of them having a solid red light or flashing on the front of the their bikes?? does anyone know if they carry.. saw them blocking traffic and on ramps on the 210 the other day.

They should not have any red lights facing the front. No they don't carry, although some of them are regular cops doing it as a side gig, so technically they could.

There bikes are usually identical to what the local cops are using so it is easy to mistake them, but I've only seen them with amber flashers

My apologies for the late answer. I only noticed your post on this after seeing your post about HP's TRS's, and then your profile and your previous 8 posts over the last 4.5 years. Since I had the funeral cops in my logs, and it was an interesting question, I thought I would answer.
