wanting to scan Walker County 440 range

hey yall, i just got out an old scanner, my pro-97, and since all the emergency freqs have gone to digital minus fire in walker county i am wanting to turn to scanner ham freqs, does anyone know of any commonly used freqs around walker county? i know the two repeaters are New Waverley (442.725, CT103.5) and Madisonville (442.475, PL85.4), just wondering if anyone knew of any frequented frequencies, Im also wanting to scan ham freqs since im hoping to get my tech license this summer and start talking up here. Anyway thanks.
