I was going to give the lowdown, but its already in the paper (Detroit News):

I actually heard the chase part of the incident live. It was pretty cool to hear how choreographed and professional the officers and dispatcher were while relating where both chases were going at the same time. There was some stepping on each other, but I would think that would be the case when two fastly evolving incidents are happening at the same time on the same airwaves. The Hamtramck chase actually went longer than the chase that ended in Mad Heights. The driver caught in Hamtramck was driving in circles around a neighborhood and project complex for a couple of minutes, Dukes of Hazzard style. Its cool that no one was hurt, and they caught everyone involved.
