Scanning the Warren county area, I've notice a few PD departments that don't use their designated channels much. Seems like PD is primarily dispatched on Police Primary 1 (North) and Police Primary 2 (South).

I haven't been able to figure out where Mason police are dispatched primarily yet, as they don't use their Mason PD channels almost ever and I don't hear much traffic for Mason locations on PD1 or PD2. Anyone have clarification on this, or do they just not get a ton of police traffic daily?

Fairly certain they are on North Primary. They are charles units. If a police department is dispatched by the county, it will be on Primary North or Primary South. Franklin and Lebanon are the exception due to being dispatched by their own centers.

They are dispatched on Law South Primary how ever most Warren County units Use MDT computers in there car, The communication center can dispatch them on the computer and the computer will give them an alert tone to inform the officer that they have a call. The officer can acknowledge the call. Mark up responding, on scene and clear the call and type notes about the call into the computer with out even talking on the radio.

Mason is dispatched on Police Primary 2 (South). They are the units using the “Charles” identifier.
The other TG’s I think you’re referring to are local TG’s they can communicate car to car with or when there is event and they don’t t want to tie up the primary dispatch. Some departments use them more than others.
Franklin PD and Lebanon PD have their own dedicated dispatch, all others are dispatched on police primary 1 (north) or police primary 2 (south).
