Heard what sounded like grid testing on Warren's radio system today on TG 176

It sounded like someone, mabee MOT wants to see how it works now. I'm going to set up one of my scanners in the morning to see if it's 9600 if I hear it again.mikey60 said:I've been checking for a 9600bps control channel every couple days, nothing so far...

From what I've read in the past, it's not unusual to do grid testing on the old system before installing or turning on a new system. This allows the techs and system operators to know what the differences in the systems are.seamusg said:It sounded like someone, mabee MOT wants to see how it works now. Yes, this is correct.seamusg said:Heard Waren testing a new radio today. Question my pro96 is showing MOT36 - is this correct for the old system - I never paid attention to the old system.

It's suposed to stay as it was - a stand alone system - just an upgrade to P25feta92 said:Does anyone know if the new Warren system is going to be part of the MPSCS or are they going to be on their own??
