The countywide project calls for more towers in the county’s growing northern end and needed communications upgrades for Warren, which would spend $2.4 million for its portion of the project and become a backup dispatch center for the county. In turn, the county would be a backup dispatch center for Warren, which dispatches its own police and fire.
