Was the firmware update for the BCD436hp successful?
All the targeted issues fixed?

I also understand that another firmware update will happen sometime this month.
Correct?

I am hoping to buy a BCD436hp soon! Just want the bugs flushed out first.

I havent noticed any issues with mine, other than the digial AGC doesnt appear to be working, but it is set OFF as default anyway. Took it on a road trip, and was receiving out to 55 miles on a P25 site, and over 60 miles on a 800 MHz Smartzone system.

I havent done any of the firmware updates and mine works just fine..Had my unit for two weeks now...not one issue here...

Just an FYI,

I put this thread in the performance section because I was asking how the firmware update was performing.

I didn't put this in the prospective owner section because I already have a Uniden scanner.

My thoughts, for what its worth.
