Wasaga Beach Fleetnet OPP // Beat02 repeater issue BCD436HP

Hi all,
relative newbie here ... but done a lot of forum reading that has been helpful so far.

I have the Uniden BCD436HP and have had good success in setting up favourites etc. via Sentinel.
I am using the stock whip antenna and now have a Watson WSMA881 in transit from Durham radio....discone for the attic may be next(?)...we'll see.

My primary interest at the moment is listening to OPP, Fire and EMS for Wasaga Beach area.

On creating my latest favourite list I paired down (through avoids) the Fleetnet Zone 1 database to include:
1) OPP Central Region - Huronia West 1H - 1OPS33 AND Collingwood & Blue Mountains 1O - 1OPS31
2) Monitoring Towers: Aylmer, Edgar, Essex, Fonthill, Goderich, Kimberley, Penetang and Primrose.

All appears good and I am receiving the Fleetnet transmissions via the towers above crisp and clear....However, I have also added to monitor the Wasaga Beach:
BEAT02 Repeater - 1OPS33 Rebroadcast
[Unfortunately I am not close to wherever this tower is....so transmissions via the Beat repeater are faint/weak - hence my supplementary antenna interest.

My Question/issue is: When I hear transmissions on the Beat repeater (officer and dispatcher) and skip over to Fleetnet, as set up above, I do not hear the transmission at all....it just stops again on the beat frequency channel. Shouldn't any transmission on the Beat02 (particularly with the Orillia comcentre dispatcher involved) be similarly and simultaneously broadcast via Fleetnet??

So...what am I doing wrong with my set-up or otherwise.

Any suggestions/advice is appreciated.

Unless you travel, drop Aylmer, Essex, Fonthill and Goderich .

BEAT02 is located at the Huronia West detachment.

Depending on where you are, you might want to try the BEAT01 repeater off of the Collingwood Grain Elevator.
