Wascana Centre Authority Police

Does anyone know what system the Wascana Centre Authority Police in Regina use. Have never heard or read anything?

Wascana Police are dispatched through the Regina Police Service Comm Centre. There are two talkgroups listed in the database section for Wascana Centre Authority. I have not monitored them yet, but when they were under the old trunk system that belonged to the city of Regina, the only comms you would hear would be from the maintenance people in the park.

Thats what I thought so they are 100% encrypted. No big deal, would be somewhat interesting but thems the breaks!

The Wascana Authority Police are dispatched by the Regina Police Service, and use their digital and encrypted talkgroups.

The two analog talkgroups shown in the database for the Wascana Authority have been abandoned. I'll send a note in to correct those database entries.

We don't know where the Wascana Authority Maintenance and Operations folks went after leaving the trunked system. A good guess would be cell phones.
