North Plains is more appropriately named Pumpkin Ridge. Not any IR sites among those 4 though. All 4 together will form another simulcast site in the smartzone system. Same as the 2 sub-sites in Eastern Clack Co., which actually started life as an IR site at Goat Mt. When the sub-site near Sandy was added, those 2 formed a simulcast site. A 3rd is sub-site planned and under construction for that East simul. site.

I don't want to talk about any frequencies at this point. Nothing new is on the air and things are always subject to change so it doesn't matter at this point. As of today, there are 3 simulcast "sites" on the air. Remember that in Motorola nomenclature a "site" consists of 1 or more geographical locations. When referring to a specific geographic mountain top or tower, the term sub-site applies. The 10 channel 4 sub-site WCCCA site. This will expand to a 16 channel 7 sub-site arrangement sometime. The 10 channel Clackamas-800 site. This one is subject to rebanding soon. However, there are no immediate plans to expand either the number of channels or the number of sub-sites. The 5 channel East Simulcast which exists on 2 sub-sites. Goat Mountain and Linhart (sp?) Butte near Sandy. A 4th site is under construction and will be the 4 sub-site 5 channel West Simulcast mentioned above. Pumpkin, Round Top, Buxton and Top Hill serving Western Washington county. These 4 sites will be all part of the 290F Simulcast SmartZone. Users will freely roam between the 4 "sites" as needed. Sorry, but dates and frequencies are always a moving target so I don't like to speculate. There are no IRs on the air anyplace in 290F at this point. There never was any IRs anywhere in Beaverton/Hillsboro and I have no idea what site "5" is. Sorry.
