For those who monitor SE Ohio you probably know they have been using the Washington Co Aid TG. This morning I have been hearing them use 53216 so guess we will see if they stay with this TG.

Washington County Sheriff

I did not find that talkgroup in the marcs system under Washington County?
I was looking to see if theirs more than one for the County I'll be down next saturday in Beverly for the Awards Dinner with Beverly Fire and Beverly-Waterford Rescue I'l a member with the squad and always monitor the sheriif channel being everything is UHF so my HT1250 works great if they move to Marcs guess i will have to use two radios.

I'm guessing you mean TG 63920 SO-84 Washington Co statewide interop when you say "Washington Co Aid TG", is that correct?

And you're saying that you are hearing them now on TG 53216 now?

Another question (in addition to my previous post) -- Have they been using Exclusively MARCS? Or are they still using all of their conventional freqs?

Correct that TG is not in the data base under Washington County nor is it under anyone else. I have not submitted it yet for I normally monitor for a while before I do. At least the Fire depts run UHF but they have on a rare occasion jump on 54096. Have a good Awards Dinner..

Thank you.

But you have me baffled -- Awards Dinner? Who's getting an award? If I am, nobody told me :)

They have been using 63920 for the last 2 to 3 weeks and an occasional use on their 453.600 but go right back to MARCS. Today is the first time I have heard them on 53216.

Awards Dinner

Mike I'm a Member with Beverly-Waterford Rescue now for 18 Years.
Beverly Fire has a Awards Dinner every year in March I'll be going down next weekend and did not know the Sheriff went to marcs i have always been able to monitor them in 453.600 so looks like my pocket scanner is going down with me. I volunteer my time working the squad on the week of the 4th of July and the week of Thanksgiving this year is #18 for me.

I'll go ahead and add it to the DB. Their move to MARCS was known, sounds like they used SO-84 until the new talkgroup was set up.
