How is everyone monitoring the Washington Count PassPort system? Right now I am monitoring the frequencies conventionally with a XPR 6550. The only problem is the data burst are audible.

Well with Passport your pretty much out of luck with actual trunking.
If it was standard LTR you could use an LTR radio or scanner.
How your doing it is about the only way.

I'm doing the same. On my Radio Shack and Whistler scanners, though, I don't hear the data bursts but it does pause on the frequency for a moment during a scan.

I don't mind the pausing. But the data burst are what I'm trying to eliminate. What model scanners are you using?

I listen to that system on a Pro-2006, Whistler WS1095 and Whistler TRX-2. On all three, I turn off delay to minimize the pause. The Whistler scanners have a much shorter pause than the 2006.

Ok I have a pro 106. I will try it with that the next time I go up that way.
