When is the expected conversion date of Washington County going to the P25? I saw they are in testing in another thread. Guessing I will need to update my scanner to one that accepts digital but don't know if I need to look at this right away or in 6 months to a year. Also when they go live on P25 will they stop altogether on the current channels?

They won't stop using there current frequencies per say but because a lot of the frequencies are going to be used in the new digital trunked radio system. Now agencies will be given talk groups and they will share the frequencies. If I were you I would buy a digital scanner soon because in the next few years there are going to be a lot more digital systems coming online in Southeastern Wisconsin.
