Washington County PA list!

Since I have alot of time on my hands and I have the scanner on 24/7 (making notes and doing research) I took a stack of 100's of frequencies listed online for Washington county and monitored them for while.
This is list of active frequencies and PL#s for most, that are regularly used. I found alot of the "published" pages and lists have a ton of numbers that are just dead silent 24/7.....

I pared that down to this list that I see are actually used on a daily basis by someone.

If a fire ch is not noted where it is used, its used by everyone.
Fireground channels listed are weak but I was told those are handhelds or low power mobils so if you hear them, they are close by.

Also, If I mislabeled any, point out my mistake I will edit it.

If you have a PL# to add to one that isnt there, post it with who's PL it is.

I have North and South Fayette TWP on the list because I am in zone 2 and they are close by me, But Fayette twps are in Allegheny co.

I am sure, there are a few I have yet to find..... lol

most of what you have is listed in the database.their are a few that are not.watch for more county FD units to be switching to vhf-hi.station 18 was testing on 151.430 yesterday.they use it now only for mutual aid but they should be switching off 46.40 by the new year.

I know most are in the database here but I figured it might be helpful for someone to post a list of just washington co active bands.
So 46.400's work will be switched to 151.430?

I'll keep that in mind thanks.

Ive been hearing 151.430 traffic daily in my area.

46.40 in all likelihood will never go away.it will be around for atleast a few more years.alot of the companies see no reason to change over.but alot wont because of cost.151.430 will be getting more use though.hell we have come along way.i remember when the control center was in city fires headquarters and all you needed was a 10 channel scanner to monitor.
