Been listening to it all day here in Middletown Maryland (Frederick County Maryland)
Probably the required transmitter IDCan also confirm it's broadcasting the Main Fire/EMS Dispatch TG. Interestingly, there is a burst of automated, rapid Morse Code transmitted a few times an hour. Have no idea what that is and have never heard it on legacy lowband 33.86 or the trunked system.
Trunked systems typically ID digitally. You can see this using control channel decoding software. Can also confirm it's broadcasting the Main Fire/EMS Dispatch TG. Today Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Company (Co.9) posted on FB an explanation of the change from Lo Band to new digital. They state that the official changeover from 33.860 to 453.650 is today.
It also seems that they have switched to Phase 2 as well
I'm not from the area, I was just scrolling through facebook and seen a post about the upgrades thought I would share, as I'm always trying to contribute to keeping the rrdb up to date even when it's not in my area, I still like to pass on the info for others.Haven't noticed any P2 traffic using DSDPlus so far, will keep it parked on the system.
