I don't know what NextHell has to do with this, their only comment was an attempt to derail the whole waiver process. Considering that NextHell is only a ESMR not a true phone company, I would hope the FCC ignores their comments, as they are only looking for a way to cheaply get more frequencies.
If you read the order, it states this is for build outs for 3G or 4G systems only. Looks like monitoring is going to go the way of Europe, wide band systems are not monitorable at this time. BTW at Dayton last weekend I had a member of the press from the Virginia area ask if there were any scanners that worked on P25 phase II, and I informed him not to my knowledge. I wonder if any of the scanner manufacturers are even thinking about how to address that.
