Just authorized for six (6) 700MHz conventional channels. Looks like for mobile use only. Guess they're preparing a transition to someone's 700MHz trunked system?
Technically it's only 3 channels, as the APX cannot receive 799-806, but it's customary to license them as pairs. Those are the low power nationwide itinerant channels (not the same as nationwide interop) that can be used for pretty much any purpose, such as (hypothetically) analog fireground channels.
They have been planning a move to Bergen County's TRS for quite some time. Probably as soon as the new firehouse construction is completed most likely would be when they will move. These most likely will be fireground channels.
