The only public safety users, that I'm aware of, on the analog TRS would be Pittsfield PD. The should be making the move over to MPSCS shortly.

There will still be users on the analog system, mostly local government activities. (Things like buses, street departments, road commission, etc.) The public safety radios still have the analog system programmed in, as a fallback, in case of failure of the MPSCS.

It looks like I need to amend my last entry, it looks like Pittsfield PD might have made the transition to MPSCS a couple hours ago.

Just wondering -- are the Washtenaw County Roads crew comms on the old trunked system still full of rather profane chatter that makes them sound like juvenile CB'ers? Back when I was living in the County years ago, when they were out & about plowing the roads & salting late at night, their comms were pretty bad. I suppose DPW crews on late-night callouts BS'ing on the radio is completely normal & helps them stay awake, but the language & subject matter used to be bad. I'm sure even 'Wall-cloud Willie' remembers that.

Some concerned citizen (me) tipped-off the trunked radio system management out of concern that if the media heard some of the vulgar insanity, they'd do some sort of expose which could damage the credibility of the county.
