Hello all,

I thought I would post my April "Watch List" to let people know what I will be targeting in April.

I started this month (March) setting up a scanner running ID Tracker that records the audio and logs when it received the transmission. My intent is to repeat that again this month filtering for these specific, unknown or questionable TGs.

I have info on some of these. Keep in mind most of the "dusty" list was mapped in 2001 when we first figured out UCAN, SL Co, SLC, etc. A lot of work by a dozen or more people went into the list. The updates and corrections are appreciated since the systems are by nature constantly evolving.

12672 Weber Animal Control
24928 Granite School Dist PD Ch 2
27168 27A UT State Attorney General Office. This was verified in September 2002 but may have changed since then. Are you hearing 27A units?
30720 St George PD. I verified it when I was down there.
48256 Park City Fire Tac 3. Verified by a friend who lives in Coalville.
58976 Utah County, probably something like high risk warrants or similar.

TG 12672 - heard comms yesterday "I'm pulling up now". Later heard "Welfare is taking care of it".

TG27168 - All I have at the moment are Unitrunker hits. It is programmed in my Unk listen banks-wait and see.

Just copied TG 28128 with Comms Check on UCAN site 3. Units heard were Rebeca (running the net), ARUP, Mountain Star, Bobby Lou, Ogden Regional Mountain Star, American Red Cross-Blood Services, and American Red Cross (Ack by Rebeca, but not heard by me).
Next net check in will be May 7. Time around 10:00L.

Were they all just checking in or was there other traffic?

If just checking in, it sounds like what I hear on 21120. They just seem to say "Radio Check" and there are a few different voices. Not sure what it is...

27168 27A UT State Attorney General Office - I cannot verify that, however it should be noted the AG's office is in charge of CART (child Abduction Response Team) which was VERY active for the search this week. That could explain the high number of hits.

This appears to be a network that we (I) have been unaware of before. Practically all of those units identified above have to do with the collection and distribution of blood. This could be a network set up for the emergency distribution of blood in a disaster or disastrous incident. Mountain Star is a health-care network consisting of hospitals in Brigham City, Salt Lake, Orem, Payson, and Bountiful.

Another thing I find interesting is that gldavis reported the initial traffic that he heard was on April 2nd and they say in their traffic their, "Next net check...May 7th...." Both of those dates are a Wednesday which makes it sound like they do this either the first Wednesday of every month or every five weeks. Maybe someone should make it a point to be listening again at 10 o'clock am on May 7th.

Sorry for the delay. They were just checking in. Base would call, they'd respond. No traffic was passed. It was just a simple comms check. I've got it on my calandar to listen next month.

TG 25344 - Heard a couple of times today unk disp telling units "to go to Ch-2". Sounded more like an FD disp. Not positive on this yet. Nothing else heard (yet).

Tg 4128

I recorded a lot of radio tests on 4/18 and 4/19 on TG 4128.

It was the same guy both days and he would basically key up and say "Radio test 1 2 3 4 5" and then set off the various tones (BEEP BEEP BEEP / Dee Dull Dee Dull / Etc.).

This afternoon, TG 24928 came active.Units first went on the air on the Granite PD channel.
Then they switched to TG 24928 which I have unconfirmed as Granite PD Ch 2.
