Water-rescue crews search for missing tuber in the South Platte River

They called out Air 1 (who wasn't on duty), and eventually he did go up. I heard him on Blue SW for a while, but there wasn't much info. provided. It seems like Air 1 didn't do a whole lot, I'm a bit confused about that.

Arapahoe Rescue Patrol still has units on this call, so I gather they haven't found the party yet.

DFD Water rescue teams are back in the South Platte this morning searching.

Along with Sheridan PD, Englewood PD, Arapahoe SO and Arap Rescue Patrol.

We hated hearing this. If a person was not found we would most likely get a phone call at North Washington station 1 to do a body recovery because they would end up at the small dams at about 58th and York. The phone calls were to keep the press away.
