Is Waterford having "growing pains" problems with their new system ? Most of the time it comes in somewhat to very distorted at my location which is only 3 miles from the tower near the Niantic River. I have an outside antenna and have no problems with other digital systems much farther away.

I haven't been listenig to the trunked system but they are still broadcasting / simulcasting the FD over 33.94. I'll take a listen over the week and see what aI hear while I'm at work.

Well, from talking with one member from one of the fire depts in Waterford, it comes as no surprise that the opinion of the new system is that the coverage & performance is less than expected. I am sure that the town and the seller of the new system are still working the bugs out.
