Waterloo Region: Fire Simplex Channels

Hi folks,

I found a few fire simplex channels on the RR database and I added them into my scanner, but I'm getting what sounds like digital noise on them.

Have I done something wrong, or missed a parameter somehow?

Does anyone have these channels working in their scanners? Thanks!

Is this the one giving you trouble..868.13750 , if so just delete it. It used to be a great conventional dispatch channel but has since changed to the garble a few years ago. You won't hear much on the other simplex channels. Maybe a bit of training but you need to be very close by to their radio.
