Does anyone know if the Watervliet Arsenal Military P25 Channels are still active? Along with the daily chat and various calls, I use to hear them do radio checks around 0830 every day and I hear nothing on them anymore. Thanks

They may have installed a trunked system. Search 380-390 MHz, you may get lucky and stumble upon a control channel.

The fire department is able to operate on the Albany County P25 system. I suspect the police can do so as well. They might be one of the unidentified encrypted groups there.

They’re still active on the 300mhz channels every so often. I pick up chatter on both the Police and Fire frequencies occasionally from Troy. It is intermittent though. As Dave said, the Arsenal’s fire department is dispatched by Albany County on County Fire 2.
