WAV Playback to DMRDecode

Has anyone had any solid success playing back .wav audio via VAC into DMRDecode? I've been trying to do this of late with some archived files I have and I'm getting really poor (or no) decoding. I could have swore I did this in the past and it worked fine.

The files I'm playing back have been recorded with DSD+ primarily, some with Audacity or GoldWave. Is there a set in stone requirement for the recording type? 44100, 48000, 96000 Hz etc etc.

.... I just tried this again with some older files I had, and it worked just great using a file recorded @ 96kHz. Must be something funky with some of my recordings.
