Waycross/ware county

[SCPD]

I'm sitting here in a St. Arbucks (yes you read that right...) in Brunswick, GA w/ a Venti Carmel Macciatto and my 396xt.... oh and the laptop too boot. I was looking at the Ware County Database page thinking I might attempt a listen and noticed there is no FD information. Only EMS & PD. Anyone know the reason?

Probably because nobody had submitted anything to the database yet. Maybe with some searching you can find them?

Well I performed a quick search by typing in, "waycross ga fire department radio frequencies" and this was something I found - WPZQ987 Scanner Frequencies

Is it reliable information?

Looks like it just took the info from the FCC database. You could try plugging those into your scanner and see what you get.

I will eventually make my way up there as I live in Jacksonville, Fl. It's hard to justify the excursion to the thriving metropolis of Waycross for the express purpose of frequency finding in this economy.
