Wayhome Music Festival Comms/Boots and Hearts

The Wayhome Music Festival is this weekend at Burl's Creek Event Park in Oro-Medonte, with thousands of people expected to be in attendance and with that, a large number of emergency services personnel on site.

CTV Barrie aired a story on Thursday evening about it and it mentioned that OPP, Oro-Medonte Fire & Simcoe County Paramedics will all have a good amount of personnel on scene ready for deployment when required. In the story it showed like 5 medic units all lined up and ready to go outside the medical tent.

So my question is regarding Simcoe County Paramedics and their operations channel.

With the new deployment and channel assignments, they no longer have a TAC 5 to use as an MCI / Special Ops channel. Any idea on what channel they would be using for comms? Like maybe MOH Zone 1 or Region 3 Common? Or a simple rental system and only talk to Georgian CACC when transporting a patient?

They're probably on their on-site simplex channel which is listed in the database.

Sounds to me like they're operating on GEO CACC for that event...

I have to be on-site today for a couple of hours and will try and verify.

I haven't heard anything on CACC yet while at home.

Hearing Wayhome Command on York Follower 3 (36112).

I've edited the title to include Boots and Hearts which is taking place at the same venue this weekend.

Last week I heard Georgian CACC mention that York Follower 3 was not being used any longer. I would suspect any special events will be handled on Tactical 3.

OPP are using 1TAC06 for this event and Oro-Medonte Fire is on their EOC channel and possibly Fireground.
