Guys,

Looking for anyone in NE PA that can confirm that Wayne County is still using 159.150 for PD operations. I cover the NE PA area for work now, and added numerous counties to the Icom in my truck.

I came up PA-191 from I-84 to Honesdale today, and then back out US-6 to my hotel in Scranton. I heard nothing on that frequency the entire time, and the repeater on that channel doesn't even seem to be there anymore.

Did they narrowband? Most of the new narrowband channels that I found while running the county through the database for all known licenses seem to be already accounted for.

Thanks in advance!

OK, I'll listen again when I'm on my way back to Honesdale in the morning.

Can you confirm the PL listed is correct?

Yes they are still on 159.150

There is just not alot of radio traffic.

The only narrowband stuff so far are the fire tac channels.

Thanks to both of you. I did catch a little bit of traffic today because of the rain.

It definitely does not sound like it's a repeater (as listed). It's either simplex, or two-frequency semi-duplex (as I heard FD & EMS units respond to county on their channels, I never heard a PD unit respond back).
