Wayne County Sheriff

Hi all,

I have tried to listen to Wayne County Sheriff on and SDS100 and a G4 but I never hear anything. It appears it is not encrypted according to the database. I have tried adding the Wayne County simulcast site as well as Detroit and also Northville and still nothing. Anyone else monitor the Sheriff and actually hear anything?

I have them in one of my scan lists. I do hear some traffic from them, but usually pretty quiet. Nothing like other County dispatch talkgroups. I've always guessed they are using a lot of computer functions?

They do not have a lot of radio traffic, most of the time. As long as you can hear other agencies, then your radios are working properly.

It could be very well be site dependent too... are you on the Wayne County site?
