WCCCA and BOEC site question...

Looking through the RR DB I see quite a few sites mentioned for the WCCCA and BOEC trunked systems.

Which sites are the best to monitor for these two separate systems? (Especially in the Tigard / King City area.)

On WCCCA, it's simple

Site 1: Washington County (although you can still receive traffic for Clackamas County on that site)
Site 2: Clackamas County (can recieve Wash. Co on this site, too)

I don't have Site 3 or Site 5 programmed in. And I don't know what happened to Site 4, or if there was even one to begin with.

Your best bet in Tigard / King City will be Site 1. You'll get loud-and-clear reception from the Parrett Mountain repeater. At least I do here in Sherwood.

As for the BOEC, from where I'm at, I can BARELY pick up a control channel, so I don't know which site is best.

I'm in Tigard, on Little Bull Mountain (Twality Middle School area; east side of the hill)... and I pick up WCCCA best on the Clackamas freqs. I live between the WCCCA Canterbury site and the school, and I get much less static, much clearer reception on the Clackamas freqs. for what its worth.

Tigard and King City are in Washington county and are on WCCCA system and is were you hear them the best. You should hear the WCCCA system almost any were in Washington county.

Okay, I am sitting here monitoring WCCCA on the Washington County system and also BOEC on the Simulcast Backbone.

Plenty of good stuff and it's Halloween night, too.
