Weare PD P25

I know this is on scan New England, but as part of fire going to capital area pd is undergoing a radio upgrade and will be P25 coming this summer. I will start monitoring for this, but figured I’d give a heads up to this very big change. Same frequency but digital.

Just got word that 2 way communications is the vendor for digital upgrade. Installation has already started and should be completed in 2 months.

I tried to submit this info, but error message says I don’t have correct privileges to do that. I’ve been submitting data for such a long time, so kind of surprised at that.

Did the police department grant you permission to post information clearly marked for “Mutual Aid Partners” on a public Internet forum?

I didn’t get it from them, it is the date of completion and new nac code, it was from a former selectmen and firefighter in town. It’s also just in an informational forum so that others can know what to expect in preparation for tge transfer. When nov 12 comes will truly be tge day to pay closer attention to listen and see if this info is correct and then make changes when they occur. Nothings been done yet, but this is a good heads up that’s all this is meant to be.

I also just remembered that there is someplace on fb that has info on the digital changeover, I haven’t been able to find it cuz I don’t spend a lot of time on fb due to my busy work schedule but it is probably posted there too. That is from the chief of police.

The person who I got it from said it was sent to him due to his involvement with that project as a selectmen for the town. That person is no longer a selectmen for the town but is still a firefighter.

On Wednesday, the day of the transition iWork from 8 to 3:30, so I won’t be able to confirm until I get home. Just an fyi.

We’ll all that has been discussed about this, I can now confirm that Weare pd is now on digital with new nac of 497. There is no way I can submit to rr but if someone that sees this, it would be greatly appreciated.
