Weather 162.400

Is the Environment Canada weather transmitter down? (XMJ 225 - CN Tower)
I haven't been hearing anything on 162.4 today, however I'm hearing weather from Collingwood on 162.475 and Buffalo on 162.550, so I don't think I have any equipment issues.
There is no mention of any problems on the Environment Canada's website.

I noticed that also yesterday.
Niagara (162.475) havent changed their forcast in days also.

The message has been passed along to the WeatherRadio guys, it'll be fixed by Monday. I called a friend who works the weather desk, he said this is the first anyone has called him about it... Goes to show how little people listen!

Hmmmm....if it's like eastern Ontario, the contact number is broadcast
at regular intervals. More likely, eveyone thinks everyone else is (or will) call
it in.

They also broadcast a toll free number quite regularly. Something like, "If you have any questions or comments..." I tried it once and prompts you to leave a voicemail IIRC.

Hmmmm....If its not broadcasting that doesn't help much. Unless you memorize the number and really its not that important to me.

I rephrase my comment for those who want to nit pick "they don't know who to contact and couldn't care that much to go find out".
