I was wondering if anyone knew of any good frequensies around the Cincinnati area that weather spotters use. I'm looking at like either professional or ameteur radio frequencies, but ones that are commonly used.

I don't know about Ohio, but here in NC/SC they use a repeater on the 2M Ham band.

Cincinnati Skywarn uses the Cincinnati FM club repeater
146.880 located in Greenhills. Net Control station is N8NWS.
I believe the weekly Skywarn Training Net is every Wednesday
at 7:30 PM.

Its rare, but if wide area coverage is needed they can bring up
the net on the FARA repeater 145.190.

If you live toward the western side of the county and have a good
outdoor antenna listen to 146.805. This is the Ripley County, Indiana
RACES repeater in Osgood, Indiana. That group actually travels all over the county tracking any storms and is very interesting to listen to.
Since our prevailing weather comes from the southwest, they usually
get the storms before they reach Ohio.

As for the Professional, 462.725/R in Western Hamilton County Ohio and the 462.575/R in Amelia (Clermont Co.) both are active during Severe Weather. also both have NOAA EAR units with fips codes for the repeater coverage areas running 24/7 365..both systems have Emergency back-up power and major cover area!
