Does anyone own a midland wr-100 weather radio? This radio is suppose to pick up amber alerts. Has anyone ever heard an Amber Alert on this radio or any other weather radio?

I do own a WR-100 and the radio has listed in it's owner's manual 48 different alerts including, "Child Abduction Emergency." I have not heard it go off yet since I have only owned the radio for a couple of months now and the Amber Alerts I have heard have happened when I was away from this radio.
When you came back to your radio, did the display show that an amber alert had occured?
Many NWS offices do not broadcast Amber Alerts, and some that do issue them as Civil Emergencies, so it is likely not your radio but the fact that the NWS doesn't send them.
