I am thinking of setting up a link to two meters from my house and use VOIP (IRLP or echolink IDK) to talk about severe weather in the country. I know other stations would have to set one up and all, but I think if somehow the snowball starts rolling, it will be a cool system. I just came up with this idea tonight. I need suggestions from fellow hams to help guide me and tell me if this is even a good idea.
