146.940 is Metro Denver's Skywarn primary frequency.
147.225 is Douglas/Elbert ARES, which will become active on high risk days.
146.880 is Arapahoe Cnty ARES, which has been active some days this season for severe weather.
146.970 is El Paso Cnty/Teller ARES & Skywarn net, perhaps the most active group in the state. In there case, ARES runs the Skywarn nets, in Denver's area, ARES does not, but may suppliment, or spot for their particular county.
Also, 146.940 has a daily weather reporting net between 630am-730am where the previous days high, low and precipitation is reported. An HF net also occurs, on 3.945 LSB.
Just a note on the 146.97 ElPaso and Teller county skywarn and ARES, we have a Skywarn net every day at 12:30 and 3:30 local, it usally consists of the days outlook and Severe weather advisories.
