I was just noticing in the DB that there are two listings for Weber County Search and Rescue, TG-5888 and TG-13120. Can anyone confirm that both of these are Weber SAR or what the difference is between them or which one is really SAR and what the other TG is?

Weber SAR

I beleive, from my reading in the forums, that the TG with the 1 prefix means that it is encripted and as such will not be usable.

I have heard what sounds like golf coarse maint on 13120 and I have heard SAR Comms on 5888
I would say 13120 needs to be changed, but I have been unable to determine what golf coarse it is. I defiantly is NOT being used for SAR.

I know that it is not encripted. Very few if any TG's on UCAN system are encripted. The only know users of encription on UCAN that we know of right now is Life Flight and maybe some UCAN tech TG's. I just don't regularly monitor Weber County, I just noticed the dupe so it is one we need to keep an eye on and see if we can narrow it down to the correct user(s).

Thanks for that info Todd, all info helps maybe we can id this TG.

This is absolutely incorrect.

LGLHOOK, we had quite a thread on this very thing started by todd_18 back in February. In fact, that was his first post, as I recall.

One of those TGs is used for the "Lower Valley" and I'm not sure about the other one. I think, without reading through that other thread again, that we decided at the time to leave both TGs. Maybe they need to be revisited.
