For some reason suddenly I can't watch videos on the regular Youtube page. They won't even load on the page, there is just a black box where they should be. I can go to my "channel" and videos play just fine there, but won't play on the main video browsing page. Youtube hosted videos on other sites that are embedded on those sites play just fine also.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing both Firefox and Adobe Flash player and plug-in. Everything works fine in IE.

I really would like to continue to use Firefox, but if I can't fix this, I will have to abandon it and maybe try Opera.

Any ideas?

Running under Vista SP2 on an older Dell XPS 410.

Are you using NoScript in Firefox? If so, Whitelist youtube.com. Javascript has to be enabled for the page in order to see a video.

I got it. I needed to delete all the Mozilla folders in Program Files and App Data. Then the re-install fixed the issue. Yay. Thanks for replies.
