Looks like Hancock County may be slowly easing onto SIRN. Weirton made a commitment with Lauttamus for digital radios for police and fire. Article didn’t mention SIRN but i would assume it is. You know how assuming turns out sometimes. Hopefully the County will follow suite.

Definitely doesn't sound like SIRN. Sounds like Lauttamaus is going to update their existing "system" (not a trunked system) to P25 and add another site or two for better coverage to fill in the blanks. There is no mention of SIRN in the article, although if they are purchasing the radios with the right features there is no reason why they couldn't work on SIRN at some point. Will be interesting to see how this pans out.
