11864 WCR 5.5 tractor overturned in a muddy pond, operator trapped in the mud.

Mountain View FPD with mutual aid from Longmont Heavy Rescue and now LEU dive team and some large cranes.

Great monitoring.

This was a pretty sad call. Not much are LEU dive team could do though.

I have one more picture from the scene, but it won't let me upload think I've met my limit.

alright, I think I know who took this picture then. I remember them standing behind me.

They'll also be in the Denver Post and the Longmont Times Call tomorrow.

Yeah those are the people who I was thinking it was. I believe they were kicked out when we arrived since it was private property.

Great pics Chris. Anybody know how it happened? From looking at the pictures it would appear that the tractor fell into a mud bath of sorts.

From how I witnessed during my star at the scene and what I read in the paper is that the operator was driving between two cow sewage ditches and the slope on the downside gave way. The excavator than tipped (the control cockpit was the side that went under) entrapping the operator. The depth of the sludge was very deep so that is why it took awhile for the recovery.

Great pics & info, BUT it would help (I think) if the pictures were resized a lot smaller. I'm a PC dummy, but I know that pictures can be resized to fit better so that the whole frame can be seen.

I could make them a little smaller, but they are going to be a little crappy in quality.

Here are little bit smaller pics. To view the larger images click on the links below the pictures.

Thanks Chris! It still takes about 60 seconds for my POS computer to load this forum, due to the original larger pictures. I know it's 100% my problem. Maybe I'll hit the lotto so I get high tech like you all  .
