Weld County Persuit

Good persuit going on right now in North East Weld County. County and State are working together to get this guy stopped. The truck is known to a location in the area. It's a dodge pickup with a flatbed and silver smoke stacks. I'm going to go pull it up on my online feed right now.

Believe is Western Weld County not NE, now CO-66 west of Platteville.

Lost vehicle but he is known to cops and bolo to Evans and Greeley now.

Switching back to normal. Back to Commerce City. Thanks for the updates Jim. If they catch back up to him I will switch back. Just a side note to that persuit. A deputy asked another if he thought the guy might have a scanner and if they should switch to tac. Just another example of how the people that use the radios have no idea how they work. That would have been totally ineffective. The channels they should have switched to if the guy had a scanner would be Greeley PD ch's 5 or 6. Unless dispatch could have switched on some encryption.

My understanding is the S.O. units do not have encrypted radios only certain GPD admin, Task Force and gang unit have crypto.

Anyway you look at it they know who the bad guy is.
