Good news bad news kind of day

Well today when we all got back to Windsor after a long weekend we got good news and bad. The good news is that the clean up is coming around nicely, and that people from all over the country have come to help Windsor get back to normal. Bad news? Our building as well as most in the city have been condemned by either the EPA or the city. SO long story short, we either rebuild or find somewhere else to call home. Word has it that Kodak suffered some major damage too, but nothing official as of yet.

Good news

We also got back in the area with our house "red tagged." Insurance team on the ground but we will be out for at least 6 months.

What little monitoring I have been able to do in the local area has been interesting. The Police, Fire and National Guard have been fantastic. We have been getting metal scavengers in the area and copper seems to be big. Most of the houses are now secure. Sunday was the big day for volunteers, we had 30 people from the Mormon team at and around our place moving debris from all over to the big piles on the street.
