SUBJECT: Follow up information on possible drowning
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
This is follow up information on the death of a male in a pond in the 11200 block of North Taft Hill Road in Wellington.
Investigators believe the 43-year old male was installing a water gauge in a pond and had paddled out into the water in a canoe, lost his balance and fell in. He was not wearing a life jacket.
Any other information such as name and cause of death will come from the Larimer County Coroner's Office.
