I looked through my Pro96Com raw data dump file and the site showed as failed at 06/08 14:13:57 so it has been down over 45 minutes now. Andrew (spitfire) checked West Creek's control channel and it is silent as well.

Still offline this morning... Wonder if the techs have the "screw it, we'll be out there this week to update it to zone 6" mentality?

Just a quick check of normal affiliations on West Creek, a couple of the radio users that are most affected are:

106006
106507

I have to run so I can't really do a detailed analysis but I am sure there are more that affiliate almost exclusively with this tower. These two look like FD units in Douglas County, obviously covering that area.

There were over 8000 affiliations (some repeated by the same radios) on this site around the same time last year (June 12, 2013). That is a lot for the rural coverage gap it provides.

I think the Zone-6 thing was a joke. That site doesn't service Pueblo County at all.

Yes it is a long time and it is still down. It is probably a pain to drive there. Plug this into Google and it shows you where it is located: 39.175233,-105.033997

I thought the same thing about the Ramah site too because it was going down and coming back up about the time the other sites were that did switch to Zone-6. But apparently I have been noticing Ramah (or at least site neighbor connectivity) goes down quite often for short periods of time. Luckily it has a very small user group.

Looks like one of the State of Colorado Radio Tech talkgroups (1197) is active in the Douglas County area. It might be related to the downed site.

UPDATE: Looks like the site is back online as of 16:47. I don't know what time it went back up, but it might have been around 16:24 as that was the last time the Radio Techs were talking on their talkgroup.

Close to a year later and West Creek is down again. I don't know when exactly it went down and don't believe it's related to any site work given that it's down through the middle of the night.
