@cg I don't see West Hartford or AMR having the license for that frequency. I do see Marcus and Alarm Room with one though. Is that just for coordination since AMR might not have trunked radios?

AMR does not have trunked radios. The UHF channel is patched with Fire Dispatch so you will hear them on that talkgroup. Those units respond for transport along with WHFD ALS.

As of 11 o’clock yesterday morning west Hartford fire is full time now now on P 25
Confirmed. Happy to hear you are receiving the FD on the new system. My source informed me that FD had made the move to the digital system, but as I was asked to not post out of a fear my sources position may be jeopardized, I waited for posts such as yours to be published before I could confirm.

Now West Hartford can concern itself with the PD moving off the analogue system. No completion date was volunteered.

I do not see a FCC license for .. THAT .. frequency for them. I do see one for Hartford County Fire Emergency Plan though .....

If you look at the locations for the frequency, the fixed base (FB) location is up at the WFSB tower location in Avon near the West Hartford town line. Its probably under this license that you found.

166.2500 167.9 was the VHF, not working now. Not sure if they are going to reactivate it with the P25 system.

I Heard them testing P25 distance and clarity as far out as Rocky Hill and surrounding towns as well as up and down every street in West Hartford on 8/28/19 started around noon was going on well after 5pm. ID 4104 I'm sure this is for PD migration. Sounding nice and clear...good audio and no drop outs.

If they do all the streets and area coverage, it may be the acceptance test.

I monitor the fire only. I'm on the New Britain/Newington line and lots of times when they are talking they just cut out. Never had that issue with the old system. That might be something they are working on.

Looking at my logs, I see a few radio IDs starting with 1194 which should be Rocky Hill mobiles on the PD channel. Any possibility they're getting on this system too for some reason?

Also, does anyone know if Hartford is still looking at utilizing the West Hartford system, or are they definitely to CLMRN?

You sure about the 1194xxx radios being on WH P25 frequencies? I run Unitrunker and DSDPlus 24/7 and see nothing on my logs.

Yes, I run each system in it's own folder in DSD. Below are the records from my RADIOS file:
Code:

P25, BEE00.09B, 1003, 1194002, 50, Normal, 4, 2019/08/13 12:39, ""

Very good, thanks. Probably were using/testing the system during the SWAT Challange.
